Your Week

by Monica on May 14, 2012

Happy Monday!

I had such an odd, not bad, feeling all weekend – something is brewing and change is on the horizon. I can feel it.

This feeling has me motivated and I am going to grab the bull by the horns each and every day this week!

Here are my goals:

1. Go on a brief walk with Dan and Wrigley today after the day’s commencement chaos

2. Lift on Tuesday and Thursday

3. Bike in basement and read for a bit on Wednesday night….more me time

4. Go to 6:00 a.m. spin on Friday

5. Give Dan a foot rub – ha, no joke

6. Spend at least one night doing nothing, but playing with Wrigley from the time I get home from work to the time he goes to bed

7. Enjoy my first date post baby on Sunday and talk about things other than Wrigs on said date

What are your goals for the week?

And just for some Monday fun…

Challenge Update

The biggest thing that I have learned in this challenge so far, is that it doesn’t matter what month it is, where you work, whether you are a parent or [...]

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all had an excellent day. It was all good stuff on our end. The weather was nothing but summer with humidity, eighty degree temps and the night storms are rolling in as we speak. With it being the last week of classes at work, I can’t help but dream of [...]

The Ingredient List

Recently I was reading an interesting article about the percentage of people in America who check nutrition facts. However, the article noted that this low percentage of the population (less than 25%) is primarily looking at fat and calories details, and not the ever important ingredient list. My first reaction was disbelief that so few [...]
